Muhammad Maqbool,
Muhammad Maqbool is a Chartered Accountant from England & Wales, Canada and Pakistan. He is also fellow member of ACCA (UK). He has been a Senior Partner in a one the big accountancy firms in Pakistan representing one of the big five accountancy firms in the world. He has 27 years’ experience in the field of Management Consulting, Financial Consultancy, System Consultancy and Corporate Re-engineering and training.
He is a renowned senior educationalist, author of large number of Accountancy and Auditing books and the pioneer in private sector accountancy education in Pakistan. He has designed and devised various courses of bachelor and master programs for The University of Lahore in the field of accountancy, finance and management. He is specialist of teaching IFRS, Financial Management, Corporate Governance and Business Reporting subjects.
He has been elected as vice president – North by the Council of Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan (ICAP). He has been the Chairman of Education and Training Committee of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan (ICAP) for 2 years and represented ICAP on International Forums. He has also been a Council Member of ICAP and the President of Pakistan Institute of Public Finance Accountants (PIPFA formerly known as AAT). He is contact person in Pakistan for Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW).
At present, he is holding Dean’s Office in School of Accountancy & Finance at The University of Lahore and is acting as Chief Executive of Emile Wolf Pakistan (Pvt.) Ltd., which is established to offer ICAEW Advanced Stage courses in Pakistan.
